Rumpelstiltskin Font - April 2017
Original three-layered Tuscan font (created using Glyphs v.2.2) + Type specimen
Rumpelstiltskin is a three layered typeface named after a quirky fairytale by the Grimm brothers, in which a character spins straw into gold for a price. Patterned after the woodcut Tuscans of the Victorian era, as well as the illuminated texts from the Middle Ages, this display typeface is suited for designs with a gothic revival feel. The layered aspect of Rumpelstiltskin makes it both modern and versatile, letting users create an infinite number of combinations and variations.
